The Challenge

In 2016, Verily was still a relatively new entity, being renamed from Google Life Sciences in Dec 2015. As part of a corporate brand initiative, Verily began to develop a set of core values that would embody their philosophy and way of working. The Verily team needed a way to bring these values to life, both in the day-to-day and as durable internal artifacts. 

The Approach

We kicked off the effort with qualitative interviews and discussions with the Verily marketing and communications team to gain insight into the significance of the value statements and their development. In addition, we were trained on the Verily style guide and immersed in the underlying Verily brand story. Insights and needs were succinctly captured in a creative brief. W2O Group's Pure team developed 5 highly artistic representations corresponding to each of the Verily values. They depict the meaning behind the value statements to engage and tell a stunning visual story. These were made into life size posters that were unveiled at an all-employee launch event.

The Results

At launch, the reveal of the posters was met with exceptional enthusiasm among the employees. The posters and visuals are now a mainstay in the Verily environment.
