At McCann, he was responsible for building and supervising scientific strategy teams across multiple agencies within the McCann Health network. Prior to his career in industry, Dr. Pyati completed a postdoctoral fellowship in pediatric oncology at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute and Harvard Medical School. His research experience extended over 13 years and earned him a Harvard Medical School Hematology Fellowship and a Young Investigator Award from Alex’s Lemonade Stand Foundation, among other achievements.

Since 1994, Junior Giants, the flagship program of the Giants Community Fund, has fostered leadership in boys and girls ages 5-18 years old through a free, noncompetitive baseball program. Gottlieb has worked with Weiss for more than 25 years across various firms and client organizations. She has been an integral force over the past 12 years, helping the company grow from approximately 25 people in two offices to nearly 700 in a dozen offices across the U.S. and Europe. She has served in a number of leadership roles at W2O, most recently as Chief Operating Officer and Head of Client Service. Previously, she led W2O wcg and W2O twist [bio].

Managing Director Jessica Carlson has led the Chicago office expansion since 2015, which has resulted in an increase in staff to more than 20 professionals. Burnett, Duncan and Hemann join a diverse group of professionals focused on executing integrated marketing and communications programs for healthcare, technology and consumer clients — all informed and measured by the firm’s leading analytics and insights.

The new Chicago office, which is being built to accommodate current and future growth of the team, is located in the booming Fulton Market District in the West Loop.

Burnett, an industry veteran, has more than 20 years of experience providing communications support to healthcare and consumer packaged goods companies for prescription and OTC drugs and consumer brands. Prior to joining W2O, he was Executive Vice President at Edelman. Burnett will build out the firm’s offering in the health and wellness category for existing clients and new business prospects.

Duncan has nearly 20 years of healthcare communications experience. Previously, she was a Senior Vice President at Edelman, where she worked with health and wellness clients across several areas, including associations, pharmaceuticals, hospitals and consumer packaged goods.
