Aaron Strout is currently Chief Marketing Officer and Head of the Financial Services practice. Previously, he served as President of WCG and was the head of the WCG Technology practice before that. Aaron has nearly 20 years of social media, mobile, online marketing and advertising experience, with a strong background in integrated marketing.
Prior to joining W2O, Aaron spent time as the CMO of Powered Inc. (now part of Dachis Group), as VP of social media at online community provider Mzinga, and as director of interactive at Fidelity Investments.
Aaron is also the co-author of Location Based Marketing for Dummies (Wiley). In addition to blogging regularly for W2O, Aaron writes a monthly mobile/location-based marketing column on MarketingLand.com.
Aaron is a founding member and former president of BIMA, and a member and former board member of the Massachusetts Innovation & Technology Exchange (MITX). Aaron sits on the advisory board of SavvyAuntie.com and Vintank.
