Tom cut his teeth in the agency business back in the early dot.com days and has spent over 20 years working with clients in a strategic consulting capacity. His sweet spot is delving into the intricacies of what makes a company special, what makes its personality shine, and what best communicates its worth to the world.
Tom is one of the original members of the management team that helped set up BrewLife in 2013 as a new agency within the W2O Group network of companies. At BrewLife, Tom serves as a primary brand strategist for a number of the agency’s accounts and plays a contributing digital strategy role on a variety of other accounts. Recent clients include: Genomic Health, Qualcomm Life, Idenix, and The Column Group. Tom also plays an operational role for the firm, overseeing the account team and making sure that clients are happy and budgets are met.
Prior to W2O Group, Tom was a partner at a branding agency called ODA (ODA was acquired by W2O Group in 2009). At ODA, Tom served as the lead strategic advisor for the agency’s brand development and digital strategy engagements. Past clients include: Acclarent, Allergan (Juvederm), Versant Ventures, Cepheid, FoxHollow, Asthmatx and CardioDx.
Away from BrewLife, Tom can be found trying to keep pace with his three young kids, chasing waves along the southern Marin coast, carving turns in Tahoe, and tending bar at the Sunrise Saloon during Burning Man.
Tom received his undergraduate degree from Princeton University and holds an MBA from The Anderson School at UCLA.
