Jennifer Gottlieb is a visionary leader who inspires her staff, clients and industry colleagues to redefine healthcare marketing and communications in an analytics-driven, digital-first world. She is leading W2O into the future as one of the largest and most diverse healthcare marketing and communications firms in the industry because she has always understood how the intersection of technology, digital and social change can yield disruptive innovation.
As W2O’s Global President and member of the firm’s Board of Directors, Jennifer has helped W2O evolve and diversify, partnering with W2O Founder and CEO Jim Weiss to bring industry-leading technological and analytics solutions to clients, expand W2O’s offerings, build next-generation talent, and achieve operational excellence. She also partnered with Weiss to create the agency’s one P&L client-centric model, which ensures that clients are seamlessly serviced by the right talent throughout W2O’s network and capabilities.
Jennifer spent the better part of her career working with top global pharmaceutical companies, including Pfizer, GSK, Roche, Merck, Bayer, Galderma, and Novartis. She continues to work as a partner to most of these companies today.
Jennifer is a member of HBA and PRSA and has been a mentee in the Arthur Page Society. Additionally, she is a member of Chief, an exclusive organization specifically designed for C-level and rising VP women leaders. As a guest professor at the S. I. Newhouse School of Communications at Syracuse University through W2O’s Center for Social Commerce program, Jennifer teaches students modern media analytics and digital insight and skills to set them apart from their peers. She is a board member of the Muscular Dystrophy Association and the Association for the Multiple Impaired Blind, and volunteers with the American Diabetes Association and the North Shore Autism Circle.
She is a recipient of numerous industry accolades, including MM&M’s Hall of Femme in 2020, PharmaVOICE 100 in 2019, PRWeek’s Hall of Femme in 2018 and “Champion of PR” from PRWeek in 2017.
During her 15 years at W2O, Jennifer has held numerous positions including Chief Client Officer and Chief Operating Officer. Prior to joining W2O in 2006, she ran the healthcare practice at Cohn & Wolfe (now BCW), and held leadership positions at Makovsky, Edelman, and Golin/Harris.
Outside of work, Jennifer’s number one priority is her family – her husband, two daughters, mother and a Maltipoo.
