A communications specialist with more than 15 years of experience – both in-house and agency – developing and managing healthcare and scientific communication efforts on behalf of industry, advocacy groups, and professional organizations.
Madeline has led communications for the oncology franchises at both Bristol-Myers Squibb and Sanofi, as well as corporate and product communications and advocacy relations at Allos Therapeutics. Her corporate, franchise, and product experience includes establishing the strategic direction and implementing external, and corresponding internal, communications around: registrational milestones for both new drug approvals and additional indications, competitor market-entry, scientific exchange and data milestones, clinical trial scenario planning and results, national and local disease-specific education programs, as well as the message preparation and management of senior executives.
Madeline’s experience also includes the integration and establishment of communication structures and processes for the companies she has worked for – both internally, and with external strategic collaborators and/or partners – as well as internal communications efforts aimed at increasing employee engagement.
Madeline holds a Bachelor of Arts in Communications, with an emphasis in Healthcare Communications, from the University of California, Santa Barbara.
