We all know how difficult is it to return to the office after a long weekend. Returning after the July Fourth weekend, however, always seems a little bit more difficult. Summer has arrived (albeit most of the time you wouldn’t know it here in San Francisco), and many of us are still dreaming of the beach, BBQs, and lazy days spent in the sunshine.

So, in order to liven things up on this Monday morning, we wanted to share some of our favorite ways we celebrated the Fourth of July long weekend in hopes you may spend some time today daydreaming of next year’s celebration.

RX Club Award

BrewLife earned two Awards of Excellence at last night’s RX Club Show in NYC. One for our Benvenue Medical logo design (Corporate Logo category), and the other for our Aptus Endosystems “Together ForEVAR” tradeshow elevator wrap (Medical Device category).

Congratulations to the teams who worked on both, including our client partners!


Benvenue logoBenvenue Medical develops next-generation, minimally invasive implants and devices for spine repair. We redesigned their corporate identity, including logo, and have developed creative campaigns for their products. The new logo is suggestive of the company’s implant placed within the vertebral chamber, with the shape of the implant suggesting the Benvenue “B”.


AptusTradeShowElevator-e1406783302253Aptus Endosystems pioneers solutions to enhance endovascular aneurysm repair (EVAR). We played off the classic “Together Forever” phrase to highlight the long-term durability the device provides by locking the endograft to the aorta in EVAR. This campaign debuted at the VEITH Symposium.

But the true star of the night may have been Tom Haan, BrewLife’s managing director, who accepted the awards with a haiku each time. Every time he took the stage, the crowd roared for more… “Haiku! Haiku! Haiku!

For those not in the know, W2O Group was once named WeissComm, born at home in Jim Weiss’ loft in 2002. We outgrew our crib years ago and have more than 300 employees today in San Francisco, New York, Austin, Los Angeles and London.

Now in our teens, we ‘ve become a network of marketing, communications, research and development firms that drive change and growth for the world’s leading brands. And yes, we’re still speaking to our Dad.
